Private Dining at the Ship Inn Restaurant Chester

The private dining room and first floor restaurant at The Ship Inn are both free to hire and are available to be enjoyed in an exclusive environment.

The Ship Inn has been used to great success as a venue for wedding receptions, christenings, large gatherings of friends or family, business meetings and corporate events.

Our private dining room seats up to 30 guests comfortably and is equipped with a projector, screen and speakers. For larger groups the first floor conservatory restaurant can seat up to 65 people (not available on a Friday or Saturday night) or be enjoyed exclusively for up to 100 people in a less formal environment.

We offer a variety of menu options from canapés to a five course a la carte menu making each event bespoke to your needs and budget. The international wine list offers a selection of classic and new world wines. Wine pairing can be accommodated upon request.

The first floor conservatory restaurant at the Ship Inn is an ideal venue to hold team building events. It has hosted a number of charity quiz’s. Not only is it great for team building, but you get to raise money for your favourite charity too!
